Project Manager


Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the project sites and also for the day to day site activities from all aspects. This role is also responsible for performing the works within the timeline, budget and scope – as defined by the Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities

Build and lead the execution timeline in the project plans as provided by the Senior Project Manager

Contribute to and approve RFP and SOW documentation and provide comment for sub-contractors

Responsible for the technical evaluation process for all in-country vendors

Leading and managing all site implementation activities, including preparation and mobilization, civil works, installation and integration (according to all design deliverables)

Approve all pro-forma invoices and verify supporting documentation ensuring they are in accordance with the contract including verifying the ATR cover

Monitor and manage the contracts and local PO’s; raise and provide mitigation plans to resolve issues well in advance of impact

Represent the project in front of the main Sub-Contractor during tender survey activities

System functionality tests i.e. (SAT, OSAT) and system to customer handover

Review the detailed design with the Technical Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to build-ability and provide comments

Support the Senior Project Manager in raising and expediting Project PO’s and PR’s

Manage the performance of the project execution and project personnel

Verify, review and administer the site contract documents including variation orders and amendments, in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager, Supply Chain, Logistics and Contracts departments

Report to the Senior Project Manager and attend weekly meetings on the assessment and allocation of resources, progress, materials, headcount, subcontractors’ allocation between projects and all other items that are to be addressed

Participate in (and during the absence of Senior Project Manager, lead) the weekly IPT meetings with Engineering, Security, Supply Chain and other supporting departments

Define and provide the Senior Projects Manager with the site based accommodation requirements for the project

To be informed of HSE, quality and document controls plans and monitor in line with the company procedures

Efficient resource allocation planning and alert in advance of additional, or excess recources

Provide site TLD (Top Level Design) and DD (Detailed Design) and receive the final approval for the site TLD and DD from OPCO (Operation Company) and the customer

Manage the designer sub-contractor and coordination activities with the HQ professional services (Eng.)

Provide implementation SOW for the on-site sub-contractor and manage the project supply chain process

Monitor sub-contractor working progress

Responsible for on-site high level QA/QC
Education / Certification Requirements:

Bachelor / Engineering

PHD is an advantage
Skills and Experience

At least 10 years of experience in a managerial role preferably as a Project Manager

Strong background of leadership and management in the areas of, Civil Engineering, Construction and Electrical work

IT skills/experience MS Office user level

Uzbekistan citizenship

Fluent Uzbekistan, Russian and English language skills
Desirable

Has effectively worked in a matrix organization delivering construction projects

Working in multi-cultural disciplines

Experience in projects with integration orientation preferred

IT skills/experience Primavera 6 user level
